Japan Sencha Uji Organic Tea

During the 12th century, the monk Eisai brought tea seeds from China to Japan, which were then planted in the area surrounding Uji (Kyoto). This is considered to be the birth of Uji-Cha (Kyoto) and with it, the Japanese tea culture.
