Description

Formosa Fine Oolong is a tea from northeastern Taiwan. The island is also popularly known by its former name, Formosa, a designation conferred by Portuguese sailors (after “Ilha Formosa”, Portuguese for “beautiful island”). The tea was discovered by Chinese immigrants, who found the wild tea trees in the 16th century.

This oolong is an excellent choice for lovers of traditional Taiwanese teas and offers the opportunity to appreciate the distinctive character of both the leaves and the infusion.

Taste: Balanced

Preparation: Use 2 level teaspoons of tea per 250 ml of water at 100°C and steep for 2–4 minutes.
